Late charges in an amount not greater than 20% of the interest due with a minimum not less than $5.00 shall be assessed at the option of the credit union on payments not received within fourteen (14) calendar days of the due date. This is a statement that changes incurred with the charge card are due when the statement is received.
- ‡Interior FCU will pay normal settlement fees if there is an initial advance of $25,000 or more and no prepayments are made within the first year of the loan. Property insurance is required. The average closing cost range is $650 – $1500. The costs depend upon the location of the property and the amount of the home equity loan. The late charge is 5% of the overdue payment of principle and interest within fifteen (15) days of the due date. The maximum APR is 18%. Rates are variable and subject to change July 1st and January 1st.
